This project aims to develop a Food Ordering and Payment Management System: A Case Study of a Shabu Restaurant. The objective is to analyze, design, and develop a system for managing food orders efficiently for various user groups.
The study methodology involves examining the current work system, collecting data, analyzing requirements, designing databases, and developing programs based on the analysis and design. The system development utilizes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for designing user interfaces and MySQL as the database management system. This system is developed to run on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
The Food Ordering and Payment Management System: A Case Study of a Shabu Restaurant supports four user groups: 1) Managers can login to manage food menus by adding, deleting, and editing items. Additionally, managers can manage employee information, assign system permissions, and monitor store sales for specific time periods. 2) Waiter can login to update personal information, check table status, take orders, monitor order status, and issue receipts upon successful payments. 3) Kitchen Staff can login to update personal details, view the list of ordered dishes, and update the status of food orders. 4) Customers can place and cancel food orders, track order status, and bill payments. The average satisfied value of the whole system is at the very good level (4.61 from 5.00).
