This research aimed to develop and evaluate a line chatbot for the Computer Science department, and study user satisfaction. The development utilized LINE Messaging API technology in conjunction with programming languages and development tools, including Webhook and Dialogflow, to build the chatbot system. The chatbot's efficiency was evaluated by 11 experts based on the principles of Black Box Testing. Additionally, user satisfaction was evaluated by 35 system users. The statistical methods used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation and T-Test.
The development results revealed that the chatbot was able to answer questions related to the Computer Science department in all six areas: general inquiries, curriculum information, professional internship, training programs, problem reporting, and contact channels. It serves as a significant medium that can be effectively utilized for educational guidance purposes .The performance evaluation by experts showed that the overall efficiency of the chatbot was at the highest level, with an average score of 4.573. Similarly, the user satisfaction assessment indicated the highest level of satisfaction, with an average score of 4.824.
