This research aimed to achieve three main objectives: 1) to study and collect data on community-based tourism activities in Nan Province, focusing on three pilot communities-Ban Maha Pho Community (Mueang District), Ban Don Chai Community (Wiang Sa District), and Ban Don Chai Community (Pua District); 2) to develop a Community-Based Tourism Information System with Centralized Management; and 3) to evaluate user satisfaction with the developed system. The research process involved studying community tourism activities, service conditions, and user requirements; analyzing and designing the system; developing and implementing it; and evaluating its performance through feedback from 109 purposively selected participants, including five IT experts and 104 users. Descriptive statistics such as mean () and standard deviation (S.D.) were used for data analysis. The findings revealed distinctive tourism activities in each community: Ban Maha Pho Community features waste management and bas-relief art creation; Ban Don Chai Community in Wiang Sa District focuses on Lanna fusion cuisine; and Ban Don Chai Community in Pua District offers hiking and nature-based experiences. The developed information system consists of three main components corresponding to stakeholder groups: (1) tourists, (2) community leaders or activity providers, and (3) system administrators. The evaluation results indicated a high level of satisfaction. IT experts rated the overall system performance as very good (= 4.54, S.D. = 0.65), while users also expressed very high satisfaction with system usability (= 4.52, S.D. = 0.34). The study recommends expanding collaboration among community-based tourism groups and government agencies-particularly the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization), or DASTA-to develop inter-community tourism packages, improve income management, and strengthen systematic coordination for sustainable community tourism development.
