The development of healthcare innovation for the elderly using multimedia aims to create multimedia content that promotes elderly healthcare and to evaluate the satisfaction with multimedia content that promotes elderly healthcare. This study selected 30 elderly individuals from Thung Tom Subdistrict, San Pa Tong District, Chiang Mai Province, using a simple random sampling method. The research instruments included interviews and a user satisfaction assessment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, mean, and standard deviation.
The findings revealed that the developed multimedia-based healthcare innovation effectively provided knowledge on elderly care. The multimedia content underwent quality evaluation by multimedia development experts and content validation by healthcare specialists. It covered healthcare information for five common diseases among the elderly including diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis of the knee, dementia, and hyperlipidemia. The overall quality of the multimedia received an average score of 4.52, classified as very good. When tested with 30 participants, the user satisfaction evaluation showed an overall satisfaction score of 4.51, with a standard deviation of 0.63, indicating the highest level of satisfaction.
